Risk of rain 2 xbox dlc11/13/2023 Overall, I have played this game almost 150 hours in the first month that I got it. The storylines and lore were interesting enough for me to read everything on my first playthrough (I'm not much of a lore or story guy). The weapon mods and mutators also let you customize your weapons to a degree (though most boss weapons come with a preset weapon mod). Add to that the large amount of build-defining rings and amulets, and the unique weapons. There are some that require getting specific items from different worlds in the same campaign, so I recommend checking those out to see if you can complete one of these rather hard to get items before re-rolling your campaign.Īdditionally, the dual class system leaves a lot of potential combinations of classes for interesting builds. I recommend using the wiki to finish out your collection with what you may have missed by yourself. There are many secrets in basically every zone, and some of them more complex than others. Each time you re-roll your campaign or adventure, you lose ONLY your quest items (and obviously, the world you had generated). Most zones are procedurally generated, so even though you may recognize some tiles after a few playthroughs, the map will still not be the same.Īll 3 regular worlds can be quickly replayed in adventure mode to explore areas you potentially didn't get before, get your missing items, farm materials, change difficulty, or just for fun. Each end boss has 2 to 4 potential ways to defeat it. It will not be easy if you're not used to this kind of game, it's meant to be hard.Īll 3 regular worlds (N'Erud, Yaesha and Losomn) have 2 different storylines each, which will change the end boss. Know that this is basically a souls-like with guns. Above my expectations on basically every count and replayability is much higher than I was expecting.
